What is electronics?

It takes quite a lot of electricity to boil a kettle or heat a home. electronics uses carefully controlled electric currents thousands of time smaller, and sometimes just individual electrons, to do useful things.

We can use electronics to switch things on or off. In a TV remote control, when you press a button an ELECTRONICS circuit detects what you want and sends an invisible beam to the TV detects this and another circuits responds.
